How to pysically add a node and connect it to the network of the Bolt true mesh routers NCM-X1800.
Open the Nexxt Home app.
On the "All Devices" screen, tap the "NCM-X1800" icon.
On the lower right corner of the router's main interface, click "Settings".
Go to "Wi-Fi mesh".
On the "How to add a node" screen, follow the instructions to add a second or third node to a mesh system step by step.
First, to guarantee a strong connection, make sure to place the nodes within a two-room distance, or a maximum of no more than 32 feet from each other.
Connect the new router to the power supply.
Insert one end of the power adapter into the corresponding port on the back panel of the new router.
Next, plug the other end into a wall outlet.
The ring-shaped light indicator around the button on the front panel of the router will light up in red.
Wait around one minute.
When the light indicator starts blinking blue the router has entered pairing mode and is now ready to be connected to the Nexxt Home app.
Now long press the the button on the front panel for 2 seconds.
Then, go to the app and tap "Add node"Wait a few moments for the app to find and connect the new node to the mesh system.
The light indicator will briefly turn red.
When the light indicator on both nodes simultaneously turns to solid blue, this means they have connected.
Now tap "Finish" on the app.
